PNB Bank Statement PDF Password: Format & How to Unlock
The Punjab National Bank (PNB) e-statement PDF password is your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format — eight digits, no separators. Example: 15081990 for 15 August 1990.
PNB uses the standard Indian DDMMYYYY format. This covers regular PNB accounts, plus accounts migrated from Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) and United Bank of India after the 1 April 2020 merger. See the full list in our Indian bank password guide.
Password format
OBC & United Bank of India merger
Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) and United Bank of India merged into Punjab National Bank on 1 April 2020. Old OBC and UBI accounts were renumbered to PNB format and now use the standard PNB DDMMYYYY DOB password. Statements issued before the merger still use the same format but may carry legacy OBC / UBI branding.
How to unlock
- 1Download from PNB ONE app or PNB Net Banking
- 2Open in Adobe Reader, Preview (Mac), or Chrome
- 3Enter DOB as DDMMYYYY (eight digits)
- 4To remove the password: File → Print → Save as PDF
- DDMMYYYY — 8 digits, leading zeros, no separators
- Verify DOB at PNB ONE → Profile
- For joint accounts use the primary holder's DOB
- Ex-OBC and ex-UBI accounts use the same PNB format after the merger
- Call PNB Customer Care on 1800-180-2222 if the password fails
