1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using mybankstatementanalysis.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

mybankstatementanalysis provides automated bank statement analysis software. Users upload PDF bank statements, which are processed using OCR and AI to generate spending categorization, money flow visualizations, and financial insights.

3. Accounts

You may use the free tier without an account (3 pages/month). To access paid features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• All paid plans include a 7-day free trial.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 7 days of a charge for consideration.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored at their current rate until renewal.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload documents that are not your own bank statements or that you do not have authorization to analyze
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
• Use the Service for illegal purposes, including money laundering analysis or fraud
• Share your account access with others or resell the Service
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our infrastructure

6. Data Ownership

You retain all ownership of your bank statement data. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service. We do not claim ownership over your financial data or analysis results.

7. Accuracy Disclaimer

Our analysis is generated using AI and OCR technology. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that transaction categorization or financial insights are 100% correct. The Service is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. You should not make financial decisions solely based on our analysis.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, mybankstatementanalysis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service unavailability.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
