Quick answer

The password for an Axis Bank e-statement PDF is your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format — eight digits, no separators. Example: 15081990 for 15 August 1990.

Axis Bank uses the standard Indian DDMMYYYY format. Full comparison across 22 banks in our Indian bank password guide.

Legacy Citi India statements (now Axis)

Axis Bank acquired Citi India's retail banking business in 2023. Statements issued before the migration still use the old Citi format: first 4 letters of surname (lowercase) + DDMM of DOB. Statements issued after migration follow the Axis format (DDMMYYYY).
